Kuwait state airline “Kuwait Airways” and Kuwait Jazeera Airways both began flights between Kuwait – Tbilisi – Kuwait. Jazeera Airways will also fly from Riyadh and Jeddah three time a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays by A320 type of aircrafts.
New Saudi Arabian low cost air company Flynas has performed inaugural flight on the route Riyadh-Tbilisi. That day airline performed another first flight from Jeddah. For summer season flights from Riyadh and Jeddah will be performed three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays by A320 type of aircrafts.
Korean Air has performed its First Charter Flight at Tbilisi International Airport. Representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Georgian National Tourism Administration and TAV Georgia have welcomed guests from South Korea.
Myway airlines initiated regular flights from Kharkov to Tbilisi and Batumi directions. Flights on the route Tbilisi-Kharkov-Tbilisi will be performed twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays by B737-800 type aircrafts. Kharkov will not be the sole destination in Ukraine, where Myway airlines will be flying to. Before the end of this year, the company is intending to have flights towards Kiev as well.
Additionally, from September 1, Romanian TAROM airlines will start to perform direct flights on the route Bucharest-Tbilisi-Bucharest three times a week.
